On Nov. 2, 2005, Fairfax Co. Supervisor Cathy Hudgins joined by Sen. Janet Howell and Del. Ken Plum, 
called a public meeting
to discuss RCA's town proposal.  
The meeting was well attended by about 80 interested Reston residents.

It should be noted that the above response is based on RCA's initial proposal 
of including all of Small Tax District #5 in the town which was revised at RCA's meeting 9/26/05.

Several members of RCA appeared at the Fairfax Co. Board of Supervisor's (BOS) Public Hearing on its draft 2006 Legislative package on November 21, in support of including a request for a referendum on Reston town status in this submission to the VA General Assembly.
