The
RCA board decided that some issues that would be coordinated by
a town government should be reviewed to see what activities RCA
could begin work on, independent of its work on governance. The
issues included:

  Add RCA Directors and
participants from the immigrant and minority communities
Promote
multicultural activities such as...
- The Reston Multicultural Festival
(RMF) which is
held in Sept. in Lake Anne Village. A Representative of RCA
will be on the RMF Planning Committee and Representatives of RCA will volunteer at the
RMF
- The
Asian Festival
which takes place in Aug., is
a two-day FREE ADMISSION event to promote a greater understanding of Asian countries and culture.
Gather and provide
information about English language courses.
