茶分為紅茶（black tea）、綠茶（green tea）、白茶（white tea）、烏龍茶（Oolong）等，不過(guò)這些茶都是從野茶樹(shù)（Camellia sinensis）上采摘下來(lái)的，它們之所以顏色和味道有別是因?yàn)榧庸さ姆椒ú煌?br />
英語(yǔ)中跟tea相關(guān)的習(xí)語(yǔ)有很多，一起來(lái)學(xué)習(xí)一下吧：

This course is as good as a chocolate teapot, so I want to quit next semester.
這門課毫無(wú)用處，下學(xué)期我想把它退掉。
*A storm in a tea cup/a tempest in a teapot 小題大做
The whole affair is just a tempest in a teapot. In a couple of months everyone will have forgotten about it.
整件事都不過(guò)是小題大做而已，過(guò)不了多久，人們就會(huì)徹底忘記這事的。
*not my cup of tea 不是我喜歡的（相當(dāng)于我們常說(shuō)的：不是我的那盤菜~）
He is not my cup of tea.
他不是我喜歡的類型。（他不是我的那盤菜。）
I realize a fantasy computer game is not everyone's cup of tea, but this one is amazing.
我知道不是每個(gè)人都迷那些虛幻的電腦游戲，不過(guò)這個(gè)游戲真的很好玩。
*Tea and sympathy 對(duì)不幸者的安慰與同情
Sometimes people want practical advice and sometimes they just want tea and sympathy.
有的時(shí)候人們想聽(tīng)些實(shí)際的建議，但有的時(shí)候他們只是尋求安慰而已。
如果有人跟你抱怨他的新老板脾氣暴躁、動(dòng)不動(dòng)拿下屬出氣，還老讓他們加班，你可以說(shuō)：
Your new boss sounds terrible, I wouldn't work for him for all the tea in China!
你的新老板聽(tīng)起來(lái)真討厭，無(wú)論給我多少錢，我都不會(huì)在他手下干的。
Not for all the tea in China意思是說(shuō)“無(wú)論對(duì)方給我多優(yōu)厚的報(bào)酬或好處，我都不會(huì)做……”。這個(gè)習(xí)語(yǔ)出現(xiàn)于19世紀(jì)末期，當(dāng)時(shí)中國(guó)是世界上最大的茶葉生產(chǎn)地，所以“all the tea in China”的確是一筆巨大的財(cái)富。
