文中的gynecological examinations就是指“婦科檢查”，gynecological就是指“婦科的；婦產(chǎn)科醫(yī)學(xué)的”，例如gynecological inflammation（婦科炎癥）、gynecological medicine(婦科用藥)。根據(jù)《公務(wù)員錄用體檢操作手冊》，現(xiàn)行的女性civil service examination（公務(wù)員考試）physical exams（體檢）婦科檢查的項目大多涉及private parts of a woman's body（女性身體私密部位)，檢查的重點為Sexually Transmitted Disease，STD（性�。�、malignant tumor（惡性腫瘤）等。

這些信息內(nèi)容享有不為他人知悉的權(quán)利，除非是出于本人medical care(醫(yī)療保健)目的。此外，過于細致、深入的婦科檢查與work of civil service（公務(wù)員工作）沒有direct relation（直接關(guān)系），這種體檢對于civil service recruitment（公務(wù)員錄用）工作的價值不大，而且會給女性造成間接的privacy invasion（隱私侵犯）和gender discrimination（性別歧視）。
