Twenty-four percent has cited the credibility deficit of the government as a main reason behind the lack of trust in Chinese society, according to a survey conducted by People’s Tribune, a magazine of People's Daily.
人民日?qǐng)?bào)旗下的人民論壇開展的一項(xiàng)調(diào)查顯示，24%的人將政府的“信譽(yù)赤字”列為中國(guó)社會(huì)缺乏信任的主要原因之一。

調(diào)查發(fā)現(xiàn)，超80%的應(yīng)答者認(rèn)為中國(guó)社會(huì)sub-healthy（亞健康），還有40%的人認(rèn)為中國(guó)社會(huì)正經(jīng)歷crisis of credibility（信任危機(jī)）。

Loss of faith（信仰缺失）居中國(guó)社會(huì)心態(tài)“十大病癥”之首。50%的網(wǎng)友認(rèn)為unethical behaviors have gone unpunished（不道德行為沒受到懲罰）是其背后原因，還有20%的人將其歸咎于"mercenary" market economy（“唯利是圖”的市場(chǎng)經(jīng)濟(jì)）。
